As a Registered Manager, you will: Oversee a 4 bedded children’s home in a rural area, which they are looking to expand to 7 beds They are also looking to open a second home in the vicinity You will be assisting with the registration of the home, setting up the policies and procedures, and then would be looking to build your team Manage a team to deliver high-quality care Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the home Produce, update, and monitor plans and report Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team Represent the company professionally to outside agencies and within the local communityPackage and Benefits: The Registered Manager role comes with an attractive package, including: Annual salary of £50,000-£60,000 with potential bonuses 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Ofsted Report Bonuses: £2,000 for a good report, £3,000 for an outstanding report. Monday to Friday 9am-5pm The ideal Registered Manager will have: At least 2 years’ experience in the last 5 years in a relevant position. Minimum 1 year of experience supervising and managing care staff. Recognised social work qualifications (QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management and QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent). Thorough knowledge of Children’s Home legislation and Ofsted inspection requirements. A valid manual driving licence and own car with business insurance. Ability to undertake on-call duties.
