P Graduate/Junior Software Engineer required by a small but well-established software company based in central Reading. The company develops analytical web applications used by the emergency services and are currently looking for another Graduate/Junior to join their existing development team of 4. /p p The role will be focused on developing simulation-based applications; therefore, any exposure to simulation or numerical computing would be preferred. /p p The core programming language of the company is C#, however, this is something they are happy to provide training on. They also will work with other languages including SQL, C++, Python, and NodeJS. /p p The company is happy to consider someone who has already graduated and is looking for a new role, or someone who is due to graduate in 2025. /p p Experience in the following is required: /p ul li Degree in Computer Science or other numerate subject such as Mathematics or Physics /li li Mathematics A level at grade A or B /li li Knowledge of a mainstream programming language such as: C#, Java, C++, Python /li /ul p During the 3-month probation period, this would be an office-based role; however, following successful completion, the company operates on a hybrid model involving typically 50% of time in the office.
