If so, we have a great opportunity for you! We are seeking a Deputy Head of Client Services to serve as a strategic partner and advisor to the Head of Client Services within our client. This pivotal role involves facilitating effective decision-making, managing allocated projects, and ensuring the smooth operations of the CST Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the insurance industry, demonstrate strong leadership abilities, and have a proven track record of supporting senior leadership.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Assist and represent the Head of Client Services in their absence, acting as a point of reference within strategic or stakeholder groups.
* Drive strategic initiatives alongside the Head of Client Services, managing priorities and ensuring alignment across the CST Leadership Team.
* Coordinate the operational onboarding of new work and teams, and the development of CST’s strategic plans.
* Manage relationships with outsource providers, ensuring effective service delivery and appropriate resource allocation.
* Coach Operations Managers to set clear objectives aligned with the business's vision; lead recruitment efforts within CST.
* Lead key projects from inception to completion, ensuring that objectives are met and deadlines are adhered to.
* Manage performance and behaviour in accordance with company policies, addressing issues swiftly and effectively.
* Support the Head of Client Services in managing crises and unforeseen challenges, ensuring appropriate responses and communications.
* Take a leading role in preparing CST for scalability and flexibility in response to market and internal changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience in operational management within the insurance industry, preferably within the London Market.
* Proven people management experience, ideally managing other managers.
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* CII qualification is desirable, Diploma or above.
