This Health, Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator will be joining a pre-existing and longstanding successful Health & Safety team who covers the length of the south coast. You will be responsible for managing compliance throughout the team.
This role will involve regular liaison with the Health & Safety team, providing support to site teams from tender stage through to aftercare. You will inform and keep up to date with legislation changes and industry best practices, ensuring correct changes and support are provided. You will also produce wellbeing materials, initiatives, and seminars to promote wellbeing in the workplace.
As Health, Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator, you will lead the administration and systems for the Health & Safety team, ensuring company procedures and best practices are followed in an organised and efficient manner.
This role is with one of the biggest construction contractors in the UK, with impressive turnover and a contractor paving the way for Health, Safety & Wellbeing standards in the UK. Currently, work is secured across the Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey & Sussex regions, with projects traditionally ranging in size from £2m up to £200m in value. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator looking to work regionally or an ambitious junior looking to create a career pathway in the construction industry.
Key attributes will include excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, experience within the construction industry is preferable, and knowledge of health and safety legal standards and practices.
