Calibration Inspector

A large manufacturer with multiple international operations is on the lookout for a Calibration Inspector to join their skilled engineering department.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Collecting and calibrating items from departments
2. Repairing any items not meeting the standards
3. Maintaining the calibration system ensuring IATF 16949 is adhered to
4. Supporting production departments with the issue of new equipment
5. Controlling any changes required from design change introductions
6. Logging new gauges for New Model into the calibration system
7. Carrying out in-house gauge repairs
8. Liaising with 3rd party to repair gauges off site
9. Using lathe and milling machines to manufacture gauge components
10. Using CMM to confirm gauges
Knowledge & Experience
1. Excellent Computer Skills
2. Strong Communication Skills
3. CMM Experience
