We are entering our peak season at Macs Adventure and our busy Finance team require some additional help to ensure that our suppliers and customers continue to receive our top-quality service. Reporting directly to Lauren Bain, our Finance Manager, this role will be key to ensuring that our suppliers are paid on time and that our customers have a seamless journey. What you’ll do; Process multicurrency supplier invoices into our accounting system. Process weekly supplier payment runs. Process and reconcile credit card transactions. Reconcile supplier statements and ensure supplier accounts are accurate. Answer queries from suppliers & other departments by email & telephone, as well as build relationships with our suppliers and other internal teams. Processing staff expenses. Assist in the month end process to ensure accuracy of Management Accounts. Weekly bank postings and reconciliations. Reconcile Accounts Receivable report and ensure all customer receipts are received and correctly allocated. Customer refunds and deposit transfers. Assist with the preparation for the annual Audit. Other Ad Hoc Duties as required. What you’ll bring; Experience in a similar role with a passion for our business and travel. Experience of working with NetSuite or similar accounting package. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Problem solving skills and an ability to think outside the box to identify ways to improve processes. Skilled user of MS packages, most specifically Excel. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility and ability to adapt to situations in a fast-growing business. Not essential, it would be a bonus if you have; European Language skills. NetSuite Experience. The knowledge and skills we’ve listed represent “the perfect candidate”.
