Job summary As one of 3 Heads of Performance and Delivery within Cambridge and Peterborough Integrated Care System you will be predominately responsible for the planned care portfolio, including cancer, elective, outpatients, and diagnostics across NHS, ISP and other providers. You will lead a team, working closely with partners across the system and region to ensure delivery of effective, and safe services; monitoring performance, leading on system wide improvement/change programmes, and ensuring commissioned services meet the need of Cambridgeshire and Peterboroughs population. Main duties of the job The post holder is responsible for leading the ICB delivery, performance and assurance teams, creating a flexible and distributed leadership culture across teams and portfolios. The post holder will act as the first point of contact for all operational priorities relevant to their portfolio area, acting as subject matter expert in supporting strategic priorities and business as usual operational improvement requirements. The post holder will be expected to be proactive in their approach to identifying opportunities for improvement, seeking out best practice and using benchmarking regularly to address unwarranted variation and reduce health inequalities.
