An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Leadership Team within the Central Booking department at Salisbury Foundation Trust, as a band 5 Inpatient Deputy Manager.
The successful candidate will join the team to provide a friendly and organised booking experience for our patients, working alongside the main booking team to ensure the safe and appropriate booking of theatres and endoscopy lists.
The department is a busy but friendly department and has a strong team environment, with staff needing to cross cover and support each other.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will need to be experienced in, or be willing to learn how to use multiple IT systems including Theatreman and Lorenzo and have a good understanding of patient pathways and referral processes.
We are looking for evidence of strong leadership skills, team working as well as the ability to work independently. The organisational skills to work in a busy team environment, whilst prioritising workload and working to deadline, recent line management and leadership experience is essential.
The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in patient/customer contact.

* Degree level qualification or equivalent experience

* Substantial experience of working in an administrative environment with significant experience managing and developing a team.
