Geography Teacher

Academic Appointments Ltd is currently supporting a Secondary School in Sheffield to recruit an experienced Geography Teacher. The role will begin in April 2025 until the end of the academic Year.
The successful candidate will be teaching Geography up to GCSE level, teaching within KS3 and KS4 and will have responsibility for their own exam classes.
This is a ‘Good’ rated school, based in the south of Sheffield where Leaders place a high priority on pupils’ academic success. They ensure that pupils are well prepared for their next steps in education, employment or training.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons.
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Assess and monitor student progress.
Create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Encourage a passion for geography and environmental awareness among students.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events and professional development.
Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Geography to UK secondary school students
Strong understanding of the UK curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong classroom management skills
Commitment to providing a high standard of education for all students
