Rhondda Cynon Taf County Council currently spends in the region of £300 million a year with private and third sector organisations on the goods, services and works needed to deliver public services. It is the Council’s responsibility to manage this money to support the delivery of the Corporate Plan Wellbeing Objectives, all in accordance with the Regulatory Framework such as the forthcoming Procurement Act 2023 and its own Contract Procedure Rules.
The Procurement Service is responsible for overseeing the Council’s procurement processes and provides essential procurement support to ensure that they are undertaken in a compliant, efficient, and effective manner. There is now an exciting opportunity to join the team.
The position currently operates as a hybrid working from home and office environment, with 2 days office working at the Council office in Porth expected.
