Market Strategist - Banks
Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Market Strategist, Banks based out of our London or European Offices.
As a Market Strategist focused on the banking sector, you will be responsible for engaging with clients to deliver on the Fitch Ratings data, credit research, and Fitch Solutions Fundamental Data & Analytics (FD&A) value proposition. You will use your subject matter expertise in bank regulation (Basel) across EMEA and various jurisdictions to optimize how clients use Fitch credit ratings across their firms. You will also use client feedback and engagement to develop new product ideas and ways to optimize clients' use of Fitch's ratings, research, and data. You will leverage your detailed knowledge of Basel III implementation across jurisdictions to create new data solutions for our clients to meet regulatory requirements, particularly in their application of credit RWAs.
We'll Count on You To:
* Lead client meetings to deliver the full value proposition of Fitch credit ratings, Fitch credit research, and the FD&A businesses; deepening the client relationships.
* Support and push an increase in RDR value proposition related meetings with our biggest accounts and then scale to regional/smaller accounts.
* Create and collaborate on presentation materials and value proposition tools for our clients to better visualize the benefits of Fitch's credit ratings and FD&A solutions (SCRA).
* Lead user groups/advisory councils to gather feedback and deepen client relationships.
* Provide scalable tools for Sales to better sell credit ratings, research, and FD&A across regions.
* Work closely with Sales and commercial teams to execute sales enablement via a consultative approach to grow the business.
* Develop new product ideas that would draw from new regulations, leveraging client feedback and market needs.
* Provide subject matter expertise throughout the organization, including training.
* Participate in webinars and conferences where appropriate.
* Liaise with the Ratings analytical team to optimize Fitch Ratings regulatory research and webinars.
What You Need to Have:
* Deep subject matter expertise in global bank regulation, Final Basel III/IV, 3.1 expertise required, particularly for EMEA/UK regions.
* Understanding and ability to apply the technical details of bank regulation to products and identify/deliver where our products and services can be optimized by banks and other firms.
* Strong knowledge of bank use cases and workflows related to ratings data, credit research, and FD&A.
* Strong presentation skills and experience interacting with senior management and risk managers.
