Could you be our next team administrator to support our Health Visiting Service?
The Health Visiting Service is a workforce of specialist community public health nurses who provide information, support, and access to interventions to families with children in the first years of life andhelp empower parents to make decisions that affect their family's future health and service is led by health visitors and supported by a skill mix team. The service is central to delivering public health outcomes for children.
We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role and can only accept applications from UK based applicants
Main duties of the job
As part of the administration team your main duties will be;
General office duties including handling incoming mail answering phone calls & covering other teams within Bristol.
Data entry of information into pre-populated templates using EMIS and other clinical systems.
Liaising with clients, and other agencies to make appointments on behalf of and at the request of the Health Visiting Team, booking into EMIS diaries and sending text and/or letter confirmations.
Respond to client enquiries which could be written, face to face or via the telephone.

Person Specification
Skills, Experience and Knowledge.
Essential
1. Computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Excel, ordering systems and data collection.
2. Previous administration experience dealing with telephone enquiries, correspondence, and office administration.
3. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
4. Experience and understanding of dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
5. Experience of team working.
6. Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner.
Desirable
7. Knowledge of patient administration systems such as EMIS, Microsoft and Power BI.
8. An understanding of Equality and Diversity policies.
9. Knowledge and awareness of the Data Protection Act and understanding of the compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.
Qualifications & Training Required
Essential
10. Good standard of education at GCSE level (9-4/A-C) including English language and Maths or equivalent.
Desirable
11. NVQ 2/3 in Business Administration.
