The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to manage the full lifecycle of multiple projects, from initial customer enquiry through to successful installation. You will support the sales team in creating quotations, manage stakeholder expectations, and oversee the coordination between design and installation teams. Handling up to 15 projects at a time, with cycles ranging from 12 weeks to a year, this role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
This is a hybrid role, and candidates must be based within 2.5 hours of Congleton.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing projects from customer enquiry through to installation.
2. Supporting the sales team with technical quotations and proposals.
3. Acting as the key point of contact between internal teams and customers.
4. Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
5. Coordinating between design, production, and installation teams.
6. Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to customer expectations.
7. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, with varying durations.
8. Occasional site visits to support installation and customer interactions.
Key Requirements:
1. Formal engineering qualification, ideally a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Experience within manufacturing ideally.
3. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
4. Ability to read CAD drawings; 3D design experience is a plus.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
6. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
7. Must be based within 2.5 hours of Congleton.
8. Full UK driving license required.
9. Must have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
Package & Benefits:
1. Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum.
