Paralegal - Conveyancing Department Location: Wallington, Surrey Job Type: Full-Time Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Conveyancing Department. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to advance their legal career by gaining hands-on experience in both residential and commercial property transactions. Day-to-day of the role: Assist solicitors and legal executives with the management of a varied caseload of property transactions. Help with the preparation and review of legal documents such as contracts, transfers, leases, and other conveyancing documents. Conduct property searches and title checks, ensuring all necessary due diligence is completed. Liaise with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders, providing timely updates and ensuring smooth communication throughout the conveyancing process. Maintain and organize case files to ensure information is kept up to date and accessible. Support the conveyancing team by preparing correspondence and legal documents related to property transactions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Law degree or relevant legal qualifications preferred. Previous experience in a conveyancing or property law environment is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and property law. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in the use of legal software and Microsoft Office Suite. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
