Systems Engineer - Wolverhampton A Systems Engineer is required by our client, a leading Aerospace and Defence Company based in Wolverhampton. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and qualification of Primary flight controls and Actuation Systems for Military and Commercial Aircraft. Other Key Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer: - Interpretation of customer specifications and definition of systems architecture - Requirements management - Preparation of proposals and supporting documents - Hydraulic/Mechanical/Electrical Primary Flight Control Design - Performance Analysis and computer based dynamic simulation - Planning, defining and preparing test documentation - Supporting test activities - Interfacing with customers, which may include travel within the UK and abroad Skills and Experience required for the Systems Engineer: - Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as Mechanical, Systems or Aerospace Engineering - Strong aerospace background - Knowledge of Primary Flight Control Actuation systems functional design - Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical equipment performance analysis with strong analytical skills - Development experience in all aspects of integrated actuation systems system architecture, actuation, verification, qualification and test - An appreciation of the engineering roles of Design, Stress, Safety/Reliability and Materials - Good communicator, with the ability to explain complex concepts and issues to peers, customers and management - Familiar with software such as MatLab and Mathcad - High level of mathematical ability Security Clearance will be required for this role and therefore only applications from candidates able to obtain this will be considered.
