Job Description
A leading global law firm seeks a Pitch Manager to join the firm for a 12-month FTC. You will oversee the end-to-end pitch process, ensuring high-quality, client-focused panel pitches. The role involves driving pitching infrastructure, systems, and behaviours and embedding pitching automation tools across the firm.
The Responsibilities:
* Manage the firm’s pitch process, including best practices for qualification conversations and compliance checks to ensure efficient pitch preparation.
* Conduct thorough client research and tailored strategies for each pitch, developing persuasive value propositions in line with the client’s needs and the firm’s strengths.
* Draft bespoke pitches based on the practice group and the client’s business needs.
* Manage all aspects of pitch responses, including planning, structuring, content creation, and submission.
* Oversee the entire pitch process, ensuring all components are delivered on time.
* Coach pitch teams, prepare presentation materials, conduct rehearsals, provide critical challenge, and formulate agendas.
* Develop standard materials and infrastructure to support pitching activities, including key selling messages and credentials.
* Work with stakeholders to ensure pitching content in the system is current and aligned with the firm’s messaging and style.
* Record all pitch opportunities and outcomes in the appropriate databases, maintaining up-to-date and accurate information for reporting purposes.
The Candidate:
* Previous experience working within a legal / professional services environment.
* Experience leading complex pitching opportunities in a global firm.
* Ability to build relationships and liaise confidently with people at all levels.
* Experience working with client procurement teams.
