We are seeking an experienced IVA Case Assessor to join a growing team of Insolvency professionals located in Salford Quays, Manchester. The Role. > Completing full and thorough review of packaged case provided by Senior Finance Manager/external introducers > Checking property valuations, running land registry search of all properties identified and checking land registry documents > Liaising with Senior Finance Manager / external introducers to obtain any missing information or documents required > Ensuring up to date knowledge of voting house/creditors’ requirements > Completing the Case Assessor handover document > Ensuring Anti Money Laundering requirements have been met. > Ensuring the documents and information provided meets the Insolvency Practitioner’s expectations and rules > Review of customers’ bank statements – non-standard findings such as (but not limited to) identifying unexplained income and expenditure transactions above £100, identifying second bank accounts, ensuring business’ gambling rules are adhered to, identifying creditors not disclosed by Manager/external introducers, verifying rent, utilities and insurances and other irregular expenses > Full review of payslips – non-standard findings such as (but not limited to) identifying unusual tax codes (standard 1250L), identifying correct income tax and national insurance (rebates may have been received), identifying attachment of earnings, identifying share saves schemes, identifying pay frequency and ensuring the correct calculation of income is being disclosed > Full review of creditors and evidence provided – evidence and full reference numbers required of all debts. > Liaising with creditor call team to obtain evidence of debts > Identifying County Court Judgements > Ensuring animation is sent to customer ahead of SIP3 call Where case is provided by external introducer, confirm time of call with introducer.
