Our client is an established International Freight Forwarder and Logistics provider who looks to support a range of clients across the UK. They are a growing presence in the UK and looking to add an Import Executive to their Egham team. They are looking for someone experienced in specifically in Imports ideally with experience in Ocean and/or Air Freight.
The role will be working to provide operational support to customers during the shipping process including assisting with quotations and initial bookings; customer documentation; monitoring shipment progress and managing customers throughout. This role requires a high level of customer service along with the ability to work alongside a variety of stakeholders within the business. The role also requires dealing with all relevant documentation with some knowledge of Customs required and experience using CargoWise would be beneficial.
Ideally this person will have at least 2 years experience working with Imports and a knowledge of multi-modal operations. The right person will have experience in Customs and be able to work through customer queries regarding all aspects of the process. The role requires effective communicators, organised and able to deliver against KPIs.

Working hours would be Monday - Friday; 9am 5.30pm with some flexibility required due to the nature of the role.
