IMH Recruitment are currently recruiting Data Entry Administrators to work with our client who deliver critical projects to ensure smooth trade between the UK and EU post Brexit.
Typical duties
* Respond to customer queries over the phone
* Preparation and completion of customs entries for import and export to be completed on time and in full to allow goods to move.
* Accurate data entry
* Check commodity codes, duty rates, licences and documentation
* Ensure the calculation of duty and VAT is accurately reflected in the entry acceptance
* Maintain alignment with current and evolving legislation and customs procedures
* Ensure compliance at all times
* The ability to work in a multi-software work environment
Who are we looking for?
* Customer service experience
* Call handling
* Attention to detail
* Customs and logistics knowledge (Preferable)
* Strong PC skills
* The ability to comply to company procedures and policies
Hours and pay
* You must be fully flex between 6AM-9:30PM, Monday – Sunday, 40 hours but on a 2-week rotation pattern of 6AM – 2:30PM & 1PM – 9:30PM.
* 40 hours per week
* £11.78 Per Hour
* Please note that the proposed start date for this role is the 20/01/2025. Please note that due to the training of this role being over a period of 8 weeks, we are only asking candidates to apply if you have no pre-booked holidays within the next 8-12 weeks.
