An opportunity has arisen to recruit a full time ward clerk to work alongside the multidisciplinary team on ward 7A We are a 26 bedded ward looking after medical and cardiology patients with a purpose built monitored bay. Ward 7A has a well established team who are friendly and welcoming. Main duties of the job Working as a multi-disciplinary team, we are committed to delivering highest quality of care to our patients with the support of our essential Administrative staff. The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of duties including answering telephone calls, recording patient admissions, transfer & discharge using electronic systems, filing hard copy documentation, managing Medical & Nursing notes, etc. About us Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust provides healthcare in hospital and the community to 258,000 people across Southport, Formby and West Lancashire.
