Role: Leisure Attendant
Location: Brinscall Swimming Pool
Contract: Full time (18.25 hours per week) / Fixed Term Contract (3 months)
Salary: £25,183 - £25,584
Closing Date: 25 March 2025
Chorley Leisure are seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for sport, fitness and leisure to join the teams across our four leisure venues.
This is a great opportunity to support the delivery of community leisure to residents in the Chorley Borough.
Successful candidates will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
This post is fixed term for three months, the hours are:
* Monday: 5.45am - 1pm
* Tuesday: 11.45am - 1pm
* Wednesday: 11.45am - 1pm
* Thursday: 11.45am - 1pm
* Friday: 5.45am - 1pm
What you’ll be getting up to
* Leisure Attendants are responsible for the day to day running of the facility, with duties including:
* Customer service including managing bookings & answering enquiries
* Ensuring supervision is always maintained of the pool and leisure facilities
* Managing reception tills having financial responsibilities such as taking payments and bookings
* Supporting the Duty Manager in supervising day to day health and safety, monitoring checks & standards
* Providing a clean and enjoyable environment by maintaining housekeeping across the sites
Who we’re looking for
* You must be self-motivated and able to work independently to maintain high levels of Safety, Service and Standards.
* You will be experienced in working in a customer-facing environment and have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
* You will have a pro-active attitude to health and safety and be comfortable in working with members of the public – we are looking for confident and positive additions to our team!

* This role requires an Enhanced DBS check (facilitated by Chorley Leisure).
