Position Title: EHS Specialist I
Description Details
EHS Technician: Responsible for the implementation of all Environmental, Health & Safety programs consistent with federal, state, local and corporate regulatory requirements. Duties include:
* Implementing hazardous, biological/medical, and radioactive waste programs including routine pickup, transportation, accounting, processing and shipping activities
* Conducting regulatory required inspections of equipment, incoming materials and areas
* Working on routine EHS assignments per written procedures/policies, where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required
* Receiving instruction on routine work and new assignments
* Having good interpersonal skills, being attentive and approachable
* Working under moderate supervision of supervisor
* Supporting multiple sites

Years of Experience/Education and/or Certifications Required:
* High School Diploma with 2 years of experience or Associates Degree with 1 year of experience

* Standard MS Office knowledge
Nice to Have: Bachelor’s Degree
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 40 hours; OT as needed.
