Job Overview Reporting into the Head of Transformation (and known internally as the 'Transformation Manager'), you will provide the critical link between leadership direction across the portfolio and enactment through the ways of working and reporting. You will be responsible for ensuring tasks are completed and support stakeholders through large and small change processes. You will be part of the team that manages, and controls all change across the organisation which is critical to the smooth running of operations; running across a large amount of workstreams at any one time. Day to Day, your will be: Structuring, coordinating, and managing the transformation delivery standards, governance and processes across portfolio including the weekly and monthly cadence Acting as a super user across the portfolio management system (currently Wave) to be able to provide configuration or development solutions to new requirements, to enact with the supplier those developments and to effectively administer use of the tool Delivering training, coaching and support related to adoption of standards, ways of working and good practice to enable progress through to outcome delivery Monitoring and reporting progress of portfolios, communicating updates (issues/risks/gaps/ escalations/successes) with Head of Transformation and key stakeholders to ensure successful execution Producing reports for executive, board, and regulators Ensuring effective preparation ahead of portfolio, workstream or other meetings including team support is available where required Providing a degree of challenge and drive in relation in to workstreams to optimise value delivery Managing the transformation team day-to-day; including diary management and prioritization to ensure effective use of resources to support the delivery across the portfolio of workstreams Reviewing initiatives through approval stages and providing guidance Providing effective monitoring and reporting of portfolio level risks with understanding Managing system configuration development and relationship with service provider Acting as the SME in tool, utilising, adapting, and promoting functionality to support business requirements Driving the adherence to Transformation Office ways of working and apply standards About You You will have Project Management Office experience and have extremely strong organisational skills. You will be personable and empathetic with the drive to ‘get things done’ with autonomy. Someone who has worked as a Business or Technical Manager who has worked across multiple departments would be a good match. You will be: A pragmatic problem solver with strong attention to detail able to help solve complex issues Highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks in a calm and controlled manner Knowledgeable of industry wide best practice relating to transformation management, project management or PMO Able to retain a positive outlook, with a ‘can do’ attitude and ability to find pragmatic solutions to challenges Excellent at planning and scheduling; ensuring the complex activities of interrelated project teams are controlled, coordinated, and linked into the overall programme Good at data handling and analysis Able to work to tight time pressures and present clearly articulated reports and presentations Effective in stakeholder engagement, communications and influencing at all levels with an ability to work effectively as part of a team Able to absorb, understand and summarise significant detail to play back Ideally experienced in people management or team leading/ supervisory roles Competent in industry wide best practice relating to project management/PMO/P3M/ change management Resilient and adaptable to the challenging landscape of a business in transformation Package This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington (Worthing) office (Monday & Tuesday as a minimum) and home.
