50 Sport is a multi-award winning creative and social media agency in sponsorship and sport.
Our mission is to be the ultimate partner for rights holders and brands to win. We look to do that by building emotional connections through storytelling for a number of clients in sponsorship and sport.
Our partner roster includes; FIFA (incl. FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 Australia and New Zealand), Ferrari Formula One Team, DHL Express, The Football Association, England Football Learning, European Games, NBA, Qatar Airways, EPCR (Heineken and Challenge Cup), Celsius, Majesticks, The Ryder Cup, Arsenal, VGW, UBS and Wembley Stadium.
Due to several recent business wins and existing client demand, we are looking to bolster our growing team with an Account Director in our Client Service team.
Key Responsibilities
The Account Director acts as a key bridge between our clients and the agency teams. They are responsible for ensuring that the agency is delivering industry leading client work, spearheading our dynamic account team and overseeing internal collaboration to create the agency’s incredible output.
They provide day to day leadership across multiple client accounts, guiding the direction of their teams. Acting as a trusted partner and advisor to clients, they set an example to the team.
Reporting to a Business Director, they support in the management of the department through leading by example and setting the pace and high standards for others to follow. The candidate will feel at home fostering strong relationships with clients at mid-senior levels, consulting and, where necessary, challenging the status quo to drive results.
The remit will encompass energising existing client relationships and playing a pivotal role in new business opportunities. The right person will possess a proven track record of agency in-house marketing experience, with substantial client servicing experience.
We’re looking for an ambitious self-starter who can evidence their ability to drive client growth and profitability. We require a candidate capable of demonstrating entrepreneurialism, versatility and resilience. Energy, positivity and a can-do attitude are non-negotiables.
The successful candidate will demonstrate empathy and understanding of the agency behaviours and buy into the idea that, together, we can innovate and reimagine possibilities in sport. They will take responsibility to actively manage a team of Account Managers and Account Executives, inspiring growth amongst direct reports via their Personal Development Plan.
