About the Role:
We are hiring on behalf of a prestigious law firm for a Legal Administrator to join their award-winning Commercial Property team in Stockton-on-Tees on a permanent basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal secretary or administrator looking for flexible working arrangements, as the client is open to candidates seeking part-time (minimum 3 days per week) or full-time hours.
You will play a vital role in providing efficient secretarial and administrative support within the team. This is a busy and varied position within a supportive and well-respected firm that prides itself on work-life balance, employee engagement, and professional development.
Key responsibilities:
* Opening and maintaining client files on the firm’s practice management system
* Conducting AML searches, ID verification, and conflict/media checks
* Typing audio dictation for solicitors, including correspondence and file notes
* Ordering property searches and preparing invoices
* Preparing legal documents and client matter documentation
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other law firms
* Handling general office administration and support duties
What we’re looking for:
* Experience as a Legal Secretary or Administrator (Commercial or Residential Property preferred, but experience in any legal sector will be considered)
* Strong IT and audio typing skills
* Excellent organisation and workload management abilities
* Strong communication and client service skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Keen attention to accuracy and detail
