Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Energy company to recruit a DCS / Cyber Security Engineer for its site in North London.
The DCS / Cyber Security Engineer role comes with a starting salary of up to £60,000 + private medical + competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties
1. Being the site expert for electrical assets and C&I systems
2. Leading and supervising a team of EC&I Technicians responsible for pre-planned and reactive maintenance work
3. Managing and implementing SIL and Cybersecurity procedures
4. The preparation of technical specifications and execution of site EC&I projects safely and within budget
5. Providing technical direction to operations and maintenance personnel and identifying areas of improvements
6. Managing high value maintenance contracts
7. Directing and supervising on site contractors
8. Ensuring HSE compliance at all times
Professional qualifications
1. A HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
2. At least 5 years' experience in a heavy process environment/sector (e.g. power station, chemical plant, paper mill, refinery, steel works etc)
3. Ideally an IOSH or NEBOSH or Health & Safety Qualification
4. Experience with ABB AC160, AC450 and 900xa systems would be hugely beneficial
Personal skills
1. Highly motivated with strong analytical thinking
2. Able to work well alone or within a team
