Programme Manager (Family Hubs and Start for Life Programme)

Salary: £53,869 - £57,070 per annum (SM3)
Hours: 36.66 per week
Location: Spindles, George Street Oldham OL1 1HD

Role Overview:
Under the direction of the Assistant Director Early Help the post holder will design a transformational programme to deliver real behavioural change within the Family Hub and Start for Life Programme, defining the outcomes, scope, resource and timeline of the programme
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for both designing and delivering transformational change projects within the Family Hubs and the Start for Life Programme to ensure benefits realisation for the communities of Oldham and achieve value for money
* Lead a complex set of projects and related activities to ensure they are delivered on time and to specification in order to improve outcomes and help address the budget challenge
* Oversee the progress of projects within the relevant programme, ensuring relevant stakeholders are appropriately sighted in line with standard progress reporting
* To develop and manage effective relationships with key stakeholders in order to persuade and influence them to achieve the required transformational change
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification (Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), PRINCE2 or equivalent)
* Able to be creative and think through issues and problems through the use of theoretical, conceptual and technical knowledge to find practical solutions
* Experience of creating compelling and robust business cases for change, and successfully delivering complex organisational development projects relating to early intervention and prevention programmes to achieve change for children and families
* Analytical skills to investigate and interpret complex information/data, evaluating options and weighing up risk and making recommendations for action
