We are seeking a dedicated Learning Manager/Cover Supervisor to work across Humanities and Maths in a secondary setting. This is a full-time position during term time only, initially offered on a temporary basis.
You will primarily be covering for teachers when off timetable, delivering high-quality lessons, and supporting student's learning across a variety of subjects. Additionally, you will provide valuable administrative support to both the Humanities and Maths faculties.
Requirements:
1. QTS or PGCE (essential) - we welcome applications from strong Cover Supervisors who may not be subject specialists.
2. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
3. Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable.
4. Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Provide cover for teaching staff in Humanities, Maths, and other subjects as needed.
6. Deliver engaging lessons to ensure students remain on task and productive during staff absences.
7. Offer administrative support, including lesson preparation, classroom management, and supporting the smooth running of both faculties.
8. Support the learning environment by maintaining order and structure in the classroom.
9. Be adaptable and willing to provide cover in subjects outside of Humanities and Maths if required.
