This is an integral position within their Management Team reporting directly to the MD, leading, and supporting with all sales activities. The successful Field Sales & Business Development Manager will be expected to be: Previous experience of Engineering Principles / Process Industries / Renewable energy or technical sales advantageous Confident building strong connections and converting to sales via face to face and lead generation activities Full UK Driving License and car The successful Field Sales & Business Development Manager will be rewarded with: The opportunity to work for an established family-run business that are continuing to grow, looking for this new appointment to be a key player The ability to influence and support with change in the business Free parking Company car Job Description: The Field Sales & Business Development Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the sales function of the business, working closely with the MD. The ideal candidate will be proactive and enjoy taking accountability with a track record of attracting new business, confidently demonstrating this throughout their career. Duties to include but not limited to: Increasing and building upon new business opportunities through cold calling, using linked in, google activities, utilising current CRM system & proactiveness Promoting core products & services to new and existing customers Arranging & attending face to face meetings with a nationwide client base Attending video conferencing calls with customers / suppliers Attending exhibitions in UK Sales reporting directly to Managing Director This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of staff and it will suit someone who enjoys looking for ways to improve sales and be part of the senior management team supporting the director with growth plans long term.
