Job summary Consultant Clinical Psychologist for Urgent Care and HTT pathways - base in NE (job share) 8C 18.75 hours per week This part time and job share post is an exciting opportunity to work alongside other senior Psychological Services staff developing the Urgent Care pathway to oversee psychological services across the Home Treatment Team and Urgent Care. Although based in the North East Essex this post will have links into the pathways around Urgent Care and Home and Crisis Treatments across EPUT. The postholder will work to develop urgent care services and improve the quality of the psychological offer from all staff in teams in the pathway.This will ensure that service users receive high-quality clinical, counselling psychology or psychotherapy services to avoid admissions or aid in discharge following an admission. Main duties of the job A good knowledge of Inpatient and Community mental health services, as well as Crisis and Home Treatment Teams will be an advantage. An ability to work flexibly, manage risk and crisis situations, and be able to understand, contain and consult to teams working in such situations is crucial. The postholder will offer some direct clinical work, but in the main lead, as well as offer supervision,work with teams, develop services and work and across multiple teams in order to smooth the path of service users moving through different services whilst in crisis.
