Ivy Resource Group is currently looking to hire a Contracts Manager to join one of our clients on a permanent basis in Andover, Hampshire.
The company:
Our client is a family-run business working on high-end and luxury projects, from contemporary new builds to period refurbishments in the south of England.
The role entails:
1. Oversee the management of contracts from inception to completion.
2. Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and maintain strong relationships.
3. Prepare and negotiate contract terms, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
4. Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, addressing any issues promptly.
5. Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders.
6. Commercial Management: Understanding JCT contracts, managing notifications, claims, and disputes.
7. Ensure high standards of quality control and safety on site.
8. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and resolve any issues.
9. Manage subcontractor agreements and performance.
Essential requirements:
1. Driving licence and own transport.
2. Managed projects valued between £2m and £6m.
3. Technical and construction knowledge, including contemporary and traditional construction methods, conservation, listed buildings, basements, and RC substructures.
4. Competency in IT software packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Project, and PDF editing.
