Teacher Responsibilities • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 5 students. • Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and engage students, ensuring the curriculum is accessible to all learners. • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices. • Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respectful behaviour and strong relationships. • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns. • Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Experience teaching Year 5 students in a primary school setting is preferred but not essential. • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners. • A commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices. • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
