Information Exploitation & Capability Specialist Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking. Package: £39,500 - £45,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience) Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight. Hybrid working is available for this role on an informal, non-contractual basis. Typically 2/3 days onsite per week. Clearance Level: You will need to obtain and maintain DV security clearance for the role. This will be funded by AWE. Let us introduce the role AWE is currently recruiting for an Information Exploitation & Capability Specialist for the Information, Configuration & Knowledge Management group. We are looking for an information specialist who understands strategic organising, securing and leveraging information to drive decision making, efficiency and innovation in an increasingly complex technological landscape. The role will focus on supporting the Senior Information Specialist's in KIM Head of Profession activities and Information Exploitation. A genuine passion for the Profession and the importance in inspiring others is important. This will include supporting education and training tasks, supporting the identification of improvements to practices and processes that meet information requirements and enable the delivery of information services. Working with key stakeholders to ensure information requirements are delivered, risks are managed, legislative and regulatory obligations are fulfilled, and our capability to exploit valuable information assets is enhanced. Key Accountabilities: Strategic assistance - Provide operational and strategic support to the Senior Information Specialist in developing and delivering strategy, policies and frameworks ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance with relevant policies, standards and legislation. Performance Monitoring - support the tracking and reporting on progress against KIM objectives, providing insights and recommendations to support decision making Skills Development - Champion the development of KIM capabilities across the organisation, bringing a passion for professional growth, identifying skills gaps and recommending training or upskilling opportunities Cultural Change - Be a advocate for fostering a culture that values knowledge sharing, collaboration and continuous learning Identify and implement improvements - Guide stakeholders in best practices to ensure information is accessible, can be leveraged effectively, and delivers maximum value to the organisation. Support the adoption and effective use of digital tools - to streamline processes and enable smarter working Work collaboratively with stakeholders - to understand business needs and support the delivery of appropriate solutions that manage risk and decision making.
