Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a Senior Occupational Health Advisor/Clinical Lead to join our friendly team. You will support the delivery of the Occupational Health Service to the MSE group and external organisations, ensuring that a proactive, comprehensive and clinically sound service is provided that supports the Trust's workforce strategy and business objectives.
You will significantly contribute to the proactive development of an Occupational Health & Wellbeing Service for all staff in the Trust and external organisations.
Manage the day-to-day functioning the pre-employment pathway processes and health screening of all new starters being on boarded into the Trust. Clear processes, which are compliant relative to Exposure Prone Procedures (EPP), clinical and non-clinical staff are a responsibility of this role.
Main duties of the job
1. To support the Deputy Manager of Occupational Health & Wellbeing in leading and advancing clinical practice in line with Department of Health guidelines, NHSE NHS health at work standards agreed by NHS confederation of employers and legislation covering the duty of care for health and safety of service users and staff.
2. Providing reports of activity and compliance areas to Public Health England (PHE) schedule of immunisations for health care workers.
