Job Title: Pastoral/Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Burnage
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Salary: £90 - £110 Per day (based on 6.5 hour working day)
Job Duties:
* Provide pastoral support to students experiencing behavioural issues
* Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies
* Work closely with teachers and parents to address student needs
* Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour
* Organise and facilitate mentoring or counselling sessions
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Experience working in an educational or youth support setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy
Education:
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Additional qualifications in counselling or youth work desirable
Experience:
* Previous experience working with students with behavioural challenges
* Experience in implementing behaviour management strategies
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of child development and behaviour management techniques
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
* Good organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Qualifications in counselling, psychology, or youth work
* Training in safeguarding and child protection
Working Conditions:
* Full-time position with regular school hours
* Work primarily within a school environment
* May involve some evening or weekend work for special events or meetings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
