MAIN OBJECTIVES Design of PCB layouts, electrical schematics, electrical diagrams, assisting in mechanical design and supporting Manufacturing Engineering. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES PCB design for high voltage power supplies and control electronics. Schematic entry from design engineering sketches. Creating and modifying 3D models and assemblies including piece part information. Generating and maintaining part information and bills of materials. Maintaining PCB library. Maintaining the DCC drawing system. Producing system schematics, wiring diagrams and schedules. Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems. Keep in f orm e d and support IS09001 Quality and IS014001 Environmental requirements and improvement activities. Commit to achieving the Company busines s, Quality and Environmental objectives a nd policie s. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE HNC or equivalent in relevant discipline. Proven expertise and experience in PCB design (preferably to IPC Standard) and mechanical design with knowledge of analogue, digital and surface mount technologies. Computer literate and knowledge of MS Office. Proficiency in CAD packages for PCB and mechanical design (experience in Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor and AutoCAD are a distinct advantage).
