Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEN Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Colchester Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one tutoring in English and Maths for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised lesson plans based on students' specific learning needs Assist students in improving their literacy and numeracy skills Monitor and assess student progress regularly Collaborate with teachers and parents to provide comprehensive support Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Strong knowledge of the GCSE English and Maths curriculum Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Strong organisational and time-management abilities Working Conditions: Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling Work primarily in a classroom or learners home setting Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
