Job Title: Health Care Assistant (HCA) - Mental Health Setting Banding: ?Band 3 Location: ?Maidstone Rate: ?£12.82 - £23.00 per hour As a Mental Health Health Care Assistant (HCA), you will be a vital member of our mental health care team, providing essential support and care to patients with mental health needs. Your ability to remain calm, make quick decisions, and show empathy will be crucial in ensuring patients receive the best possible care. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the assessment of patients' mental health conditions and helping to prioritise care based on their needs. Providing initial support and interventions to help stabilise patients, including basic mental health care measures when needed. Monitoring and documenting patients' mental health status, symptoms, and any changes in their condition. Supporting the medical team with mental health assessments and helping to interpret the results. Administering medications and assisting with treatments as directed by physicians.
