This role would suit a time served Motor Vehicle Technician qualified to City & Guilds or Manufacturer standards. Using your experience, you will be authorising work in accordance with manufacturers servicing schedules and industry recognised times whilst paying attention to vehicle histories, contract type, contract duration, warranty position and within client specific authority levels.

Maintenance Controller - Requirements:
1. Experience working in workshop environment or similar workplace
2. Excellent communication skills as direct interaction with customers, colleagues and suppliers will play a major part within this role
3. Good computer skills and keyboard accuracy, experience in Microsoft Office products
4. Good verbal and written communication skills
5. Good interpersonal skills
6. An ability to work to deadlines under pressurised conditions
7. A proactive approach to achieve targets, both personal and company
Maintenance Controller - Desirable:
1. A working knowledge of Epyx 1link or alternative work authorisation platforms (not essential)
2. Knowledge of the rental, contract hire and fleet management sector would be ideal
3. Electric Vehicle experience
