About The Team & Role:
You will work in a team tasked with reducing road traffic casualties in the county of Gloucestershire, managing road safety schemes, analysing collision data, speed management, research studies, providing safety reviews of highway design proposals and undertaking Road Safety Audits.
You will work with us to implement road safety strategies and meet casualty reduction targets by managing road safety schemes, providing advice to colleagues and external partner organisations and reviewing applications to changes in the operation of the highway in terms of speed limits etc.
You will support the team to deliver work and policy objectives helping in the evolution, innovation and promotion of safe, healthy and sustainable travel for all road users.
About You:
You will have knowledge and appreciation of the Safe Systems approach to road safety. You will have knowledge and experience of road safety engineering.
You will have experience in collision data analysis.
You will have excellent organisational skills to deliver work that is delegated to you to ensure our service levels are maintained. You will need to have a customer-focused nature to help build working relationships with our stakeholders.
