Commercial Trainer (Electrical Safety) Up to 49,533 (subject to qualifications and experience) 1.0 FTE / 35 Hours Based at Falkirk Campus Permanent We are currently looking for an experienced electrician/electrical practitioner with domestic and industrial Installation, Inspection and maintenance experience to deliver training/assessment across our range of electrical safety provision. Examples include: :18th Edition 2382-22 :Inspection & Testing 2391-52 :Electricity at Work Regulations :Electrical Safety Bespoke Training Courses :Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Testing - 2377-77 (PAT Testing) :Solar Photovoltaic Systems :Electrical Vehicle Charging :Battery Storage Delivering to commercial candidates you will find motivated and like-minded people keen to build their skillset through participating in a range of courses. The Role Based at our new state of the art Falkirk Campus with excellent motorway and public transport links, you will be joining the department at time of extensive growth and development as we aim to become the first choice for industry training in Scotland, delivering highly trained personnel across a range of sectors. You will join a passionate, knowledgeable and highly driven team of trainers and be responsible for the preparation and delivery of commercial training programmes across a range of provision. Requirements Candidates should be a fully qualified electrician (SJIB approved electrician/SVQ level 3 electrical installation or equivalent) Training experience, assessor qualification or equivalent and a formal teaching qualification and hazardous area experience is desirable, however not essential as full training will be provided. For candidates with relevant industrial hazardous experience, a training programme will be offered, so the candidate can be approved by the awarding body. Following approval to deliver CompEx provision, there may be opportunity for additional salary enhancements.
