The Quantity Surveyor role:
1. Reviewing tender documents to identify requirements and potential risks.
2. Developing detailed schedules of works or Bills of Quantities.
3. Conducting site visits, reviewing findings with the Contracts Manager, and reflecting this in tender pricing.
4. Managing procurement of sub-contract packages, labour-only packages, and suppliers.
5. Preparing labour, plant, and material budgets.
6. Issuing early warnings and managing compensation events under NEC contracts.
