Arthur is partnered with a Lloyds syndicate who is hiring an Underwriting Management Team Assistant to join them on an initial 12-month FTC.
This role will support the team with all day-to-day management of the subcontract default insurance program as well as supporting other team functions as needed.
Responsibilities:
* Manage underwriting group mailboxes and ensure proper filing of correspondence and documentation.
* Assist in the preparation of underwriting documentation, including Quotes, Policies, and Endorsements.
* Prepare debit notes and process financial transactions using our in-house accounting system.
* Support the preparation and review of Bound Risk and Paid Premium BDX reports.
* Perform data entry and assist in generating reports as required.
* Provide general administrative support to the Underwriting Management Team.
We are ideally seeking candidates with 1-2 years of insurance experience, preferably in an operational or underwriting support role. However, we also welcome applications from school leavers or graduates who have completed a work placement within the insurance industry.
