Service Operations Assistant - Nottingham
Description: A position has arisen for a full-time Service Operations Assistant, based out of Nottingham, to work alongside the Midlands Service Centres and fully support the Midlands Service Coordinators and Operations Team.
Responsibilities include:
* First point of contact for the service coordinators.
* Assisting with service quotes, managing service quote register, ensuring quotes are followed up with customers.
* Responsibility for the parts ordering process; warehouse/stock management across the Midlands sites and remote storage units and to carry out necessary safety inspection checks.
* Pick and dispatch parts for engineers, customers and returns.
* Responsible for loading, unloading, moving and storage of stock, monitoring and maintaining stock accuracy and supporting regular stocktakes.
* Manage waste oil returns, PPE and tools to branches.
* Carry out Health & Safety Inspections for buildings, plant, equipment and vehicles in line with standard procedures.
Key skills for this role:
* Good organisation skills.
* Ability to prioritise.
* Ability to effectively manage your time.
* Willingness to run with tasks and adapt to any business requirement needed to support the operations team.
Qualifications and experience:
* Full valid UK driving licence.
* Experience in a similar operational/administrative role.
* Forklift Truck Licence would be beneficial but not essential.
