Project Engineer
Location: Flexible (North, Central, or Southeast England)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) + Overtime + Benefits
We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer in the renewable energy sector. This role focuses on major projects involving 33kV and 132kV systems, making it ideal for candidates with a solid background in electrical engineering or project management. The role of a Project Engineer balances on-site work with office-based project management, offering an excellent opportunity for someone comfortable in both settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Understand client requirements and ensure project objectives are met.

Estimate project costs, define deliverables, and plan resources effectively.

Develop comprehensive programmes of work for project implementation.

Manage the coordination of technicians, craftspeople, and subcontractors.
*
Oversee project budgets, performance, and quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

HNC in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Power Distribution or equivalent experience.
*
Experience working on private networks or in the renewable energy sector.
*
Familiarity with current Health and Safety legislation and regulations.
*
Ability to interpret technical diagrams and explain design concepts clearly.
*
Strong communication, decision-making, and organisational skills.
