Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic individual to join the head and neck cancer nurse specialist team, with excellent organisational and communication skills and can work both autonomously and as part of a team. Relevant post registration experience is essential, and knowledge of head and neck nursing would be beneficial but not essential as a full training and supervision package will be tailored to meet your needs. Main duties of the job The purpose of the post is to provide expert specialist clinical nursing practice for both outpatients, inpatients (including NHS and private patients where relevant). The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) will use evidence-based clinical practice in line with current research, guidelines and other available evidence. They will ensure that patients and their families are fully informed about their journey through the service.
