Reporting into a supportive and down to earth Finance Manager, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience in a growing and ever evolving business. The successful Assistant Accountant will be tasked with supporting the Finance Manager with month end journal posting, inter-company reconciliation's, accruals and prepayments as well as supporting with treasury management. The ideal Assistant Accountant will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role and ideally be studying towards a recognised Accounting qualification. In addition experience with Sage 50 is highly desirable. Role: Support with month end process including journals, accruals and prepayments Maintenance of the balance sheet including fixed assets Support with posting of transactions Inter-company of high volume of company bank accounts Support with year end Ad hoc accounting duties as required Requirements: AAT Qualified Ideally from a Manufacturing background Working towards an accounting qualification Knowledge of Sage 50 Good Excel Skills At least 3 years experience in accounting, ideally in a multi site environment
