In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in many facets of satellite communications engineering, with the opportunity to work in real-world conditions and challenging situations. Your main responsibilities will include, user needs capture, requirements analysis and design response at sub-system (chassis) and module (circuit board layout) levels; support through procurement, manufacture and integration phases, both with in-house departments and 3rd party suppliers; acceptance testing (and fault diagnosis) at module and integrated unit levels; environmental qualification testing. The resulting output will include a manufacturing pack that can be handed to a third-party fabrication plant for board manufacture and final assembly. Requirements: It would help if you had a broad range of experience with mixed-signal (RF/analogue and digital) electronics design including: Experience in designing to meet Military-level design and text standards (Mil-Std 810) at both the circuit board and unit level Experience in designing to meet the regulatory environment related to achieving CE/UKCA marks on end products (e.g., EpHS/REACH/EN62368), including the production of evidential documentation.
