Petroineos Grangemouth ¿ OUR CHALLENGES ARE YOUR OPPORTUNITIES We are looking for a number of Construction Co-ordinators on a full time temporary basis to join our Projects & TAR team based at Grangemouth. Do you have either a Mechanical OR Civils OR E&I background? We are recruiting temporary roles to support our Turnaround (TAR) events, which enables us to undertake critical project work across the Refinery. We would love to hear from applicants who have a previous experience working on turnaround or shutdown event as well as knowledge and experience of work pack planning. A degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline would be beneficial. Experience:
1. Knowledge of construction legislation, practices, standards and techniques
2. Experience of working with third party construction contractors and contractor management
3. Working knowledge of the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM) 2015.
4. Technical knowledge relevant to own discipline including an understanding of legislative requirements and construction standards

Key Accountabilities:
9. Provide construction technical input to design, safety, planning and constructability reviews
10. Manage Projects where Petroineos has the role of Principle Contractor onsite in accordance with CDM Regulations
11. Conduct SHE & Safe System of Work audits
12. Review 3rd party contractor key site documentation to ensure they meet and maintain Petroineos standards and requirements ensuring works can be executed safely and efficiently and within timescales
13. Manage communications and interfaces between teams including the facilitation of permits, participation in and/or leadership of daily area coordination meetings, site meetings, toolbox talks
14. Establish, maintain, update and provide ready access to key construction & safety documentation
15. Complete or assist with onsite quality checks
16. Facilitate safe access and egress to Construction Site through Traffic Management Plans
17. Ensure that TQ¿s are raised and proactively resolved for changes, errors, omissions or inconsistencies in the design information that are highlighted before or during site activities
18. Provide progress reports to Project Managers, Cost Engineers, Purchasing and Planners
19. Keep suitable records of site activities and conditions such as weather, deliveries, etc and the impact of any delays, in order to enable validation and sign off of contractor claims or variations.
20. Issue Site Instructions to Contractors for additional minor activities
21. Secure the site, directly inform the Construction Team Leader, Project Manager & HSE Advisors; and support any investigations after an incident
The RPH for this role is up to £40ph dependant on experience.
