Learning Content Designer 6 month initial hybrid role working from one of our Regional Centres Position Overview : We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Learning Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing engaging, effective learning experiences that support the achievement of organizational goals. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create high-quality instructional materials tailored to diverse audiences and delivery formats. Key Responsibilities Curriculum Design: Design and develop learning solutions aligned with organizational objectives, target audience needs, and adult learning principles. Develop comprehensive learning strategies, including learning paths, modules, and course objectives. Content Development : Create engaging instructional materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training (ILT) guides, blended learning content, job aids, and assessments. Develop scripts, storyboards, and visual aids for learning solutions, ensuring clarity and consistency. Use authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS) to deliver and manage content. Collaboration and Communication: Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and validate content. Collaborate with multimedia and graphic design teams to produce interactive and visually appealing materials. regularly with stakeholders to ensure learning solutions meet organizational goals. Evaluation and Improvement : Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions using analytics, feedback, and performance metrics. Conduct needs analyses to identify learning gaps and propose appropriate solutions. Continuously refine and update instructional materials based on feedback and emerging trends. Skills and experience Strong knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories. Proficiency with eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms. Familiarity with multimedia production tools (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite). Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to analyse complex information and transform it into engaging learning experiences. Creativity in designing interactive and visually compelling learning solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with gamification, microlearning, or virtual/augmented reality in learning design. Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
